These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set forth the terms and conditions for the use of the iOS application “Kurun” (the “App”) provided by Kyosuke Watanabe (“I,” “me,” or “my”). All users of the App shall use the App only after agreeing to these Terms.

Article 1 (Scope of Application)

  1. These Terms apply to all relationships between the user and me in connection with the use of the App.
  2. Any notes on use, guidelines, specific rules, or other provisions presented by me within the App, on my website, or by any other means shall form a part of these Terms.
  3. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and any specific rules or other provisions referred to in the preceding paragraph, such specific rules or other provisions shall prevail.

Article 2 (Definitions) The meanings of the terms used in these Terms shall be as follows:

  1. “User” means any individual who uses the App.
  2. “Free Plan” means the range of features of the App that may be used free of charge.
  3. “Pro Plan” means a paid plan for using additional features offered in the App.
  4. “Subscription Plan” means an auto-renewing Pro Plan offered on a monthly or annual basis.
  5. “One-Time Purchase Plan” means a paid plan that permits continued use of the features that I offer as Pro features at the time of purchase.
  6. “Pro Features” means the paid features set forth in Article 4.

Article 3 (License to Use)

  1. Subject to the user’s compliance with these Terms, I grant the user a non-transferable, non-sublicensable, non-exclusive right to use the App for personal and non-commercial purposes.
  2. In using the App, the user shall, at their own responsibility and expense, prepare and maintain an iPhone or any other necessary device, internet connection, power supply, and any other required environment for use.
  3. The App is not a service that requires account registration. Users shall use the App in accordance with their device environment and use environment for Apple Account or similar services.

Article 4 (Free Plan and Pro Features)

  1. Under the Free Plan, users may primarily use the following features: (1) timeline feature, and (2) stopwatch feature.
  2. Under the Pro Plan, in addition to the Free Plan features, users may primarily use the following features: (1) ad removal, (2) analytics features, (3) Pomodoro timer feature, (4) removal of the limit on the number of templates that can be created (the Free Plan is limited to one), (5) removal of the limit on the number of categories that can be created (the Free Plan is limited to three), (6) removal of the limit on the number of frequently used tasks that can be registered (the Free Plan is limited to three), (7) tag feature, (8) priority setting feature, (9) free color customization feature, and (10) to-do feature.
  3. I may, within a reasonable scope and without prior notice to users, add to, change, or discontinue the features, names, specifications, screen layouts, methods of provision, or any other aspects of the App.
