These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") define the conditions for using the "Roo Timer" application (hereinafter referred to as the "App") provided by Kyosuke Watanabe (hereinafter referred to as "we," "our," or "us"). By installing or using this App, users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
1. Definitions
- "User": Any individual who uses this App.
- "We" / "Us": The operator of the App (the individual mentioned above).
- "Content": All texts, images, sounds, designs, and other elements displayed within the App.
2. Scope of Application
These Terms apply to all relationships between users and us concerning the provision and use of this App. In addition to these Terms, we may establish additional guidelines, help pages, or notifications, which shall constitute part of these Terms.
3. Provided Features
This App provides a timer function designed for interval training, such as HIIT or Tabata. It is not a medical device and does not constitute or substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
4. Usage Environment and Safety
Users are responsible for preparing and maintaining the necessary devices, network connections, and other environments at their own expense. Users must ensure their own safety and manage their physical condition during workouts. Individuals with pre-existing conditions should consult a physician before using the App.
5. Fees, Charges, and Advertisements
- Currently: The App is available free of charge.
- Future Changes: We may introduce in-app advertisements or paid plans (e.g., one-time purchases, feature unlocks, subscriptions). When introduced, prices, duration, payment terms, auto-renewal options, etc., will be clearly displayed in the App Store or within the App. Payments will follow Apple’s terms, and refunds will comply with App Store policies.
- If Subscription Plans with Auto-Renewal are Introduced: Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Users can manage or cancel subscriptions via iOS under “Settings” > “Apple ID” > “Subscriptions.”
6. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not engage in the following:
- Actions that violate laws or public order and morals
- Unauthorized use of the App, reverse engineering, scraping, or imposing excessive loads
- Infringing the rights or interests of us or third parties (including intellectual property, privacy, and reputation)
